Do you like oysters?
These French oysters taste similar to the Blue Point but without so much flesh or the scent of the ocean which most people do not like,
Not quite briny but with a hint of nuttiness, perfect with a squeeze of lemon and a bit of English wasabi (Horseradish).
Beef Carpaccio with Truffle Oil-
Thinly sliced Kobe beef served with truffle oil.
A Very delicate balance of flavors made this starter stand out from the rest of carpaccios.
Pyramid of starters-
Consisting of smoked tuna on the bottom, prawns with parsley, cilantro mojo-like sauce in the middle (maybe arugula oil as well), and topped with sweet crab meat with caviar and roe. Our personal favorite was the latter which had good textures with complimenting flavors to send you to the next realm.
Comes in 2-3 person/ portions.
We would do 3 to share with 2.
Scallops, Sea Urchin Cream, and Caviar-
Full of detail and yet another beautiful presentation, you will want to savor every single bite with this immaculate dish.
Sole & Prawn Roll with Lobster Sauce-
Lobster sauce was fantastic; adding delicate flavor to the melt in your mouth roll of sole and prawns.
The garnish is such an added bonus as in all their dishes.
Always consistent is the sauce they use for this dish.
Porto sauce, in this case, was excellent, neither too sweet or too rich, perfectly complementing the duck.
This meaty fish is served with arugula oil on a bed of ratatouille.
Flavors, once again, are consistently excellent.
Little taster dessert menu with cafe.
Chocolate lava cake was so smooth and light, even for a non-chocolate lover. Lemon meringue was perfectly light, and the chocolate macaroon was delightful.
You can taste the coconut but it’s not overly powerful.
Make sure you eat the cake with the served ice cream as you will appreciate the added combination.
